This 1 day class fills the training requirement for a concealed handgun permit in North Carolina. Class will begin at 8:00am. Continental breakfast will be provided. The morning session will discuss the laws concerning justified self-defense, concealed carry, and personal protection. We will provide lunch at the class location. The afternoon portion of the class will discuss safety, marksmanship fundamentals, mindset, and specifics on how to properly train to defend yourself and others. The remainder of the day will be used for marksmanship qualification. During the range portion of the class you will demonstrate your proficiency and safe gun handling skills. Qualification consists of 10 rounds each fired from distances of 3, 5 and 7 yards. There will be eye and ear protection available for those without. No gun? No Problem!!! There will be various calibers of firearms available for those without. There will be an additional fee of $15 to cover the cost of ammunition.
- You must be a US citizen and a NC resident to qualify for a permit.
- NO CONVICTED FELONS.
- You must be registered and paid in full by Wednesday October 5th to participate.
